We're always hearing about how this person and this person received a seven figure income because they were an affiliate marketer.

It almost sounds like it is a scam, doesn't it?

The truth about affiliate programs, though, is that they are not scams.

They are probably the most legitimate way on the Internet to make money from home.

This is because you're partnering up with a merchant who is running an affiliate marketing program.

The merchant has a software program that tracks sales and that is how commission is tracked.

That program creates a unique URL that is assigned to each affiliate marketer so that the software picks up on it immediately.

Technically, you're marketing a product for someone else, but you're getting something in return.

This is a very affordable way to market a product for the merchant because they only have to pay if a sale is made.

It isn't like putting an ad in the newspaper and having to pay anyway. This is something that is entirely different and the merchant is always making a profit no matter what.

For example, the product that they are selling is £70 ($100) and you get a 20% commission. This means they pay you £14 ($20) and they get the other £55 ($80).

Now let's say their cost is only £35 ($50) to buy. They have made a £20 ($30) profit, while still paying you a commission.

However, your job is to promote as much as you can and use all marketing avenues available to you on the Internet so that you can drive traffic to your link and convince them to click it.

If they click it and they buy the product, then you're in business.

You have money that's going to go in your wallet when you're paid. You can simply repeat this process over and over again and double, triple, or quadruple your money.

Just make sure you do what you can to market, but don't spend a lot of money on some marketing methods.

The idea is for you to market the product and to do so for free. There are plenty of ways in which you can market online for free.

You can use article directories, forums, and so many more methods.

You can even use the classified ads. You'll find that you'll draw traffic, which will bring in money.
