After you have determined the product is your cup of tea, then you need to take a look at the company.

Make sure they're going to offer you your own unique affiliate link. If they are, find out what the commission is.

Now something that is set at a 5% or 10% commission may not be your cup of tea. You would have to sell a lot of that product for it to make the money that you want it to make. That would take a lot of effort to less, so make sure you take that into consideration.

You also need to look at other aspects of the company such as whether or not they're going to give you training materials to help you learn everything you can about their program and their product.

There are certain technical aspects you need to know about such as how they're going to figure commissions and whether or not they have a long cookie duration in case someone comes to their site through your affiliate link, leaves, and then comes back again.

If the cookie duration is short, then you can bet on not getting credit if the customer buys. These are just some of the things you have to know when finding the perfect affiliate business opportunity.
